Decanted for three hours. The perfect duality of an almost liqueur palate, yet is diaphanous and flows. Dark raspberry, herbs of Provence , braised duck, hot stones, scorched earth and anise. The ideal palate and finish - which is of course exceptionally long - with the most elaborate forms of pleasure throughout. Like Stein, this is beyond perfect (if there is such a thing; this might actually be better...if possible) and somehow, through all of the superlatives that easily present themselves, nothing can properly convey how special this is. Still a baby, she will age many years and is just starting to open for current consumption. I would not be surprised to see this goddess go the distance. Drink 2020 -.

This is a very friendly reminder of the mere fact that Elaine and Manfred Krankl meticulously make the best Grenache in the world. Yes, the WORLD. There’s Rayas, Clos Saint Jean, Usseglio, Domaine Saint Damien, Saxum and others, however, intellectually and sensationally, Sine Qua Non conducts the best. The Eleven Confessions vineyard only continues to improve every year with age.
