One  375ml bottle of the Excellent and Very Rare 1959 Vintage of Château Margaux. Château Margaux is the Famous First Growth with the Most Seductive and Fabulously Perfumed Bouquet in all of its Best Vintages. This Rare 1959 Vintage was a Great one- The 1959 Bordeaux Vintage was an Excellent one for all of Bordeaux and this 1959 Chateau Margaux has been rated a High 95 points by The Wine Spectator Magazine. Here is their Review, ' 95 out of 100 ........ Superbly Balanced, with Lovely, Elegant Fruit Flavors. Quite Succulent in style. Medium Ruby-Garnet, with an Elegant, Earthy Strawberry Aroma, Balanced Fruit and Medium Tannins. Drink From : 1995 to 2020. ' - The Wine Spectator Magazine. Château Margaux, a 1er Cru Classé property, has been owned by the Mentzelopoulos family since 1978 - since then it has consistently produced the Finest Wines in the Médoc. The large 90 hectare Property produces over 30,000 cases per year and is located in the centre of the Margaux Appellation. The Vineyards (Cabernet Sauvignon 75%, Merlot 20%, Cabernet Franc 2%, Petit Verdot 3%) lie on a sandy-stone topsoil, beneath which is to be found gravel and then clay. The Wine is fermented in a mixture of stainless steel vats and oak casks and is matured for 18 months in 100% new oak barriques. These are Sublime and Immaculately Crafted Clarets which display Extraordinary Fragrance, Refinement and a Ravishingly Seductive Perfume. In the past, the Wine was described as Feminine in Character but in the last twenty years Château Margaux has displayed more Weight and Concentration and today represents the perfect balance between Finesse and Power. This Rare bottle is in Mint Condition and is in Commercial Storage. It has a Very High Shoulder Fill. Thank You  for Looking.
