One Very Rare 375ml Bottle of the Infamous and Extremely Rare 1953 Vintage of Château La Mission-Haut-Brion. This Rare Bottle has been Rated a Very High 93 Points by Robert M. Parker , of The Wine Advocate Magazine. Château La Mission-Haut-Brion is the Greatest Graves Wine after Haut-Brion and in some Vintages is considered the Superior Wine of the two. La Mission-Haut-Brion is situated just across the road from Haut-Brion in the Commune of Talence in the southern suburbs of Bordeaux. Since 1983, both Properties have been under the same ownership, Domaine Clarence Dillon S.A. La Mission-Haut-Brion's Vineyards (Cabernet Sauvignon 48%, Merlot 45%, Cabernet Franc 7%) lie on a Large (up to 18 metres deep in places) gravel bank interspersed with clay. The Wine is fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel vats and then Matured in Oak Barriques (100% new) for 18 months. The Wines of La Mission Haut Brion are Rich, Oaky and Powerful and need at least 10 Years of Bottle Ageing before they should be Broached. Here is The Wine Advocate's Review of this Rare 1953 Vintage , " 93 out of 100 .......... I have been told by a number of people who have followed the 1953 Vintage from its youth that it Drank Exceptionally Well in the late fifties. Apparently, it has lost None of its Hedonistic, Supple, Explosive Fruit. It will not get any better, so Consumption is recommended between 1995-2015. It Offers a Delicious Smoky, Berry Fragrance, a Silky, Creamy Texture, and a Long, Heady Finish. The low acidity provides Vibrance, and the tannins have Melted Away. Should you be Fortunate enough to have this Beauty Cellared, Drink it over the next Several Years. " --- The Wine Advocate Magazine. This Rare Bottle is in Mint Condition and is in Commercial Storage. Thank You  for looking.
