One 750ml Bottle of the Outstanding 1997 Vintage of Loredan Gasparini's, Capo di Stato. It was created on purpose by Count Loredan Gasparini for the official events of the city of Venice and it became an Undisputed Protagonist right from the beginning. It has obtained the approval and Appreciation of people from all over the world, among whom the former President of the French Republic Charles De Gaulle, to whom its name has been dedicated. This Bordeaux Blend whose composition has always required the use of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Merlot (10%) and Malbec (5%), comes from the grapes of the Historic Vineyard of the farm of Venegazzù (the so-called "Cento piante", with Vines that are Fifty years old ) and partly of the Vineyard "Falconera". The average density of the Vines (3,000 vine-stocks per hectare) and the soil on which they grow, the well-known "ferretto" of Montello, that is particularly Rich in iron and Mineral Components, determines its structure and Long Life. The Vintage is made by Hand at the beginning of October and has an average yield of 5800 kilos per hectare. After a fermentation of about twenty days in Oak tubs (15 of which in contact with the skins) at a temperature of 25/30 °C, with the completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is kept 18 to 24 months in French Oak Barrels with different weight. It is then Refined one year in the Bottle. It is worth mentioning that Capo di Stato has been listed by a French publication entitled "100 Vins de Légende" among the Hundred Wines in the World that for their History and Top Quality can be Unanimously considered as Legendary. This is an Official Acknowledgement to the Wine that has been the first True Italian Bordeaux Blend. This Wine has been rated a Very High 91 Points by The Wine Spectator Magazine . Here is their Review - " 91 out of 100 ................. Sexy Juice , with Decadent Aromas of Earth , Ripe Fruit and Flowers . Full - Bodied , with Very Well - Integrated Tannins and a Long , Ripe Fruit Finish . A Beauty that needs Bottle age . " - The Wine Spectator Magazine . This Rare Bottle is in Mint Condition and is in Commercial Storage. Thank you for looking .
