BODEGA Y VIÑEDOS FRUTOS ARAGÓN - DESAFÍO

Bodegas Y Vinedos Frutos Aragon is the Illusion of Pedro Frutos and his wife Carmen Aragón. A  couple with their ideas perfectly clear. The winery is the culmination of a long family history of cultivation of grapes in the Ribera del Duero. This small familiar winery has its vineyards located in Roa de Duero, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.

During 20 years, Carmen and Pedro, have worked 40 hectares of vineyards, irrigated by the rivers Duero and Riaza. The vineyards are in an altitude between 800 and 920 metres and they have an average age of 30 years. The plots have been cultivated with great care in "integrated production", whilst respecting the environment. The main variety is Tempranillo but also grow Cabernet and Merlot.

Apart from this, they have made a significant investment in modern facilities in Roa with a capacity of 120,000 liters of wine. Pedro is also the winemaker and to make their wines, he selects the grapes from its best plots. Grapes are selected during the harvest and also when they arrive to the winery in the sorting table. Each variety is fermented separately in a different stainless still tank and then the wines are aged in 100% New-  French oak barrels.

The Winning Bidder is Entitled to the Option of Purchasing up to a Full-Case of 12-Bottles, at the Winning Bid Price. We ship in 6 and 12-Bottle Packs.  Thank You for Looking at Our Auction.
